We are honored to have an experienced judge be a guest speaker at our meeting!
This is a unique opportunity that a sitting Judge come talks about some of the following - Real Estate Law; Litigation; Tort Reform; Zoning including ADUs; Property Rights; Tenant Rights; Squatters; Homelessness; Distressed Homeowners.  Hard to know where this conversation will go, but for sure you will learn by joining in.
   
 Judge Dave Larson was appointed to serve as a judge on the Federal Way Municipal Court in February 2008 and is currently serving his third full. He has been the presiding judge of the Court since November 2009 making him responsible for the management of the court in addition to handling his assigned calendars.
 
Judge Larson has had a long record of accomplishment as a trial lawyer, mediator, arbitrator, and now as a judge. He was a veteran trial lawyer who tried cases in state and federal courts for twenty-three years before becoming a judge. He tried approximately seventy civil jury trials, two hundred fifty arbitrations, acted as arbitrator for approximately sixty cases, and acted as mediator for approximately forty cases. He has presided over fifty jury trials since becoming a judge.

 Greg Gallagher is a REAPS Board Member. His business primarily consists of flips and wholesale deals in King, Pierce, Snohomish and Kitsap counties. He is involved in about 40 flips a year between him and his clients.  Also about 40 wholesales a year.  He is a licensed real estate broker the last 18 years, and has been working/buying at the foreclosure auctions since 2009 for himself and for clients.  Greg is involved in real estate investing education as an instructor and coach.
