John Todderud

Overview of multifamily investing you’ll want to learn to help you get started, including a few high level insights for out of state areas and recommendations for how to go deeper on each area and work with out of state brokers.

John will be sharing his own journey and Tips & Tricks. He'll make sure that the materials are informative and provide a clear path forward for both new and experienced investors.

John has been buying and managing multifamily properties since 2010 and recently left his tech career to pursue real estate syndication full time. Through his firm, Cardinal Oak Investments, LLC, he has acquired properties in several states across the U.S. and focuses on building partnerships with investors and relationships with brokers. John looks for apartments in need of renovation – from light upgrades to larger scale renovations, adding value to the properties and rewarding investors with cash distributions, asset appreciation, and tax benefits. You'll find John at the REAPS meetings too.

Jeff Hamel is a newly retired firefighter. Plus a Licensed Contractor since 1991, General Contractor since 2009. Bought his first single-family rental property in 1994. Has been a member of REAPS since 2008. Currently holds rental properties, working on smaller short plat projects, doing flips, and owns a multifamily property and is seeking more multifamily properties.
