Rick Hanley has 30+ years of Multi-Family Real Estate Investment experience as a successful independent owner operator. Richard started his investment career as an investment property Realtor specializing in selling apartment buildings in western Washington for ten years.
He worked closely with, and represented apartment investors that purchased distressed apartment buildings, in the Seattle-Tacoma market, and re-positioned the buildings to a stable and then optimized operation. This experience formed the foundation for Richard’s future success as an apartment building investor / owner operator.
Richard’s current Real Estate Owned (REO) portfolio includes 17 apartment buildings with a market value of $50M+. His portfolio size has ranged from 300 to 555 units during the last five years.

About Our Co-Host / Moderators...
 Host: Kristel Knittel started by investing for appreciation in 2010 in the Bay Area and in 2018 relocated to invest in Bremerton. She currently owns a duplex and works full-time as a Realtor and investor. Her goal is to generate enough passive income by 2025 to retire (aka work just for fun). An Army veteran, she also gives back to her community through the East Bremerton Rotary, and enjoys hikes, cooking, spending time with family and their two dogs.
 Mike Sumsky is a long-time REAPS member, REAPS Board member and MC of the REAPS Kitsap satellite group. He is a full-time real estate investor and owner of Washington Home Solutions, based out of Bremerton, WA. Mike specializes in creative deal structuring, raising private money, wholesaling, landlording and lease options. When Mike is not flipping houses, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, rooting for the Seahawks, enjoying the outdoors, golfing and wine tasting.
