Guest Speakers:

Oliver Scott, Red Canoe Credit Union, Business Loan Officer Oliver has 12 years of experience managing small business financing institutions, including as Director of the top SBA microlender and Community Advantage lender in the nation. For two years, he has been with Red Canoe Credit Union, where he specializes in Commercial real estate and Residential investment real estate.

Matt Flynn, Co-Founder, Flynn Family Lending Matt’s real estate investing and financing experience spans over three decades and includes residential mortgage lending, private lending, flipping and wholesaling, as well as investing in single and multi-family homes. Matt heads business development for Flynn Family Lending, overseeing borrower and investor relations and leading the sales team.

Ercle Terrell, Loan Officer, Flynn Family Lending Ercle grew up down the street from Matt and was brought on to the Flynn Family Lending team as an intern in 2019. He quickly jumped into loan coordination, while working to earn his Washington state real estate license, before graduating from Boise State University in May 2020. Shortly after graduation, Ercle was promoted to Loan Officer with Flynn Family, bought his first primary residence and closed on his first rental investment property. As Flynn Family’s business development lead, Ercle is responsible for helping clients obtain creative financing and working to find the best solution to meet their needs.

Seth Hallock, Luther Burbank Savings, Income Property Loan Officer Seth has been in the financial services industry for over 13 years. He left BECU in 2021 after 9 years of service where he focused on both commercial real estate and business lending. At Luther Burbank Seth specializes in the originations of new loans for multifamily, mixed-use, industrial, office, and multi-tenant commercial real estate properties in Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado, Utah, and Arizona.

Jeff Hamel is a newly retired firefighter. Plus a Licensed Contractor since 1991, General Contractor since 2009. Bought his first single-family rental property in 1994. Has been a member of REAPS since 2008. Currently holds rental properties, working on smaller short plat projects, doing flips, and owns a multifamily property and is seeking more multifamily properties.
