How to appeal your property taxes and win!

Tim Cornwell is a real estate agent and active real estate investor based in Bellingham, Washington. He has been investing in real estate since 2010 and has worked professionally as a licensed agent since 2012, giving him both an owner’s and advisor’s perspective on real estate decisions.

Tim’s investing experience includes buy-and-hold rentals, value-add renovations, fix-and-flip projects, new construction spec home investing, and development-oriented opportunities. He has invested in mobile home parks out of state and owns multifamily and commercial office properties in the Bellingham area. Several of his acquisitions have been completed using seller financing and private money loans, giving him practical experience with creative financing structures. His approach centers on disciplined underwriting, long-term cash flow, and risk management, with a preference for strong fundamentals over speculation.

As an agent, Tim works closely with buyers, sellers, and investors, helping them evaluate opportunities with clarity and confidence. He is known for straightforward advice, careful analysis, and a steady presence throughout complex transactions.

Tim grew up in Mount Vernon, attended Western Washington University, and has deep roots in Whatcom County. He has been married to his wife Lynn for over 38 years and is a father and grandfather. Above all, Tim’s life and work are guided by his faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to steward his time, resources, and relationships with integrity and purpose.
