ABOUT SCOTTY: Grew up at the Bellevue Boys Club, when that was in fact the name.
Learned to negotiate in Mandarin living in Beijing 2000-2006.
Bought 14 houses in 2006 at auction. Opened my own brokerage with no experience.
Started giving small amounts to Bellevue Boys and Girls Club.
Bought a 22 unit seller financed motel in 2007 with the equity from the houses.
Alcohol started to kick my ass.
Bought a 2nd motel that lost money every month for 10 years.
Changed my charity to the Moses Lake Boys and Girls Club after I found out Bellevue didn’t need my money.
Was foreclosed on 5 times and short sold 5 houses over the next 6 years.
Bought a Flip at the Seattle auction the same day I was foreclosed on at the same auction.
Opened and Built a bar in 2011. Closed the bar in 2014 with a massive alcohol problem.
Was audited by the IRS 8 years in a row.
Switched my donations to specific purposes such as summer camps, shoes for club members, etc rather than put money towards general funds.
Quit drinking in 2016 and went to yoga teacher training.
Joined Tony Robbins crew.
Switched to Caliber Real Estate to get more training.
Sold my entire terrible portfolio after I met Thach in 2019 (speaking at Caliber).
Got married to my favorite yoga teacher. Had a beautiful Daughter then a son.
Got personal coaching in many areas of my life and started mentoring teens and adults.
Wholesaled 30 houses and brrrr’d 20 over the next 3 years by mailing post cards.
Partnered with the Sounders RAVE foundation and Sourced 1 Kirkland flip for Thach
that paid ($250k) for 2 soccer fields in South Seattle.
Retired from wholesaling houses in late 2022.
Joined Gobundance to make more friends and learn more about business.
Built the 26th sounders and the first ever Reign Futsol fields in Moses Lake next to the Boys and Girls Club.
Started Right Meow Dumpsters.
Had 3 surgeries, Sold off my houses and got divorced.
Today i am Back at mailing 30k mailers a month and buying houses and renting dumpsters.
